  We had a great experience early on with the salesperson (Georgia) and there were a lot of promises and assurances up front. There was a 4 or 5 month lead time before the kitchen remodel work could be done at the house, which we wished wasn't so long. While they weren't the cheapest, we had friends that had a good experience with them. So we agreed to use them. There was very little communication once we accepted their quote. They told us we needed to pick out appliances, and a sink, and we were left with the impression that they would be coordinating and handling everything with the various vendors. They indicated where we should go, and we thought everything was going smoothly. Well, when it came time for the physical work, we realized there was no coordination with the contractors involved. Kitchen Plus didn't really make it clear that we were supposed to coordinate with the appliance supplier, the appliance installer, and the sink and plumbing supplier. Their performance was disappointing and we ended up paying extra to have components expedited. I was disappointed and annoyed with Kitchen Plus because I thought I was paying them to handle all of the details. If I had known that I had to do it all, I would have just appointed myself general contractor and I could have saved a lot of money. While the renovation process was flawed and not really managed, I must add that the kitchen remodel results look great and we're extremely happy with it. I just hope every time we look at our beautiful kitchen, the pain of the process doesn't steal our joy!
